David M. Fleishman
Founder / CEO

David is a real estate investor and licensed Illinois attorney. Since 1991, he has founded sixteen real estate investment entities through which over $40 million has been successfully invested. His core business model focuses on investing in vacant land and distressed assets in emerging markets. Other ventures have included real estate tax lien investments, billboard and cell tower ground leases, and Opportunity Zone development funds.

Mr. Fleishman is one of the largest landowners in the City of Chicago having pioneered in such neighborhoods as Wicker Park (1991), Pilsen (1997), Bronzeville (2001) and Woodlawn (2007). He is an active participant and collaborator in the development of the neighborhoods in which he invests capital.

David received his Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Northwestern University.

John D. Cummins Jr.
Principal / General Counsel

John is a real estate investor and attorney licensed in Illinois since 1994. He has been working with Mr. Fleishman since 2004 when he started his own law practice focusing on real estate law and tax lien portfolio management. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Cummins also is a principal/investor in multiple real estate partnerships.

Mr. Cummins has participated in over 20 Cook County real estate tax sales and has developed an expertise in identifying distressed property opportunities and tax deed legal proceedings. He handles a variety of other legal matters, including real estate closings, title clearance issues and contract review, drafting and negotiation. He is a registered title agent at several title companies and holds a real estate state brokerage license.

He received his Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Northwestern University.
